Former assistant to continue coaching career with Storm

SIOUX CITY, IA—The Tri-City Storm have announced they have added former Musketeer assistant coach Ethan Goldberg to their staff as an assistant coach for the 2017-18 season.  Goldberg will round out a Storm staff that includes longtime friend and Head Coach Anthony Noreen, assistant coach Matt Stewart and Goaltending coach Matt Zaba.

During his time with the Sioux City the Musketeers won two Western Conference championships, an Anderson Cup and made it all the way to game 5 of the Clark Cup Final last season

Goldberg had previously served as an assistant coach at Lake Forest College and as a volunteer coach for Bemidji State University.  Former Head Coach Jay Varady brought Goldberg to Sioux City to serve as video coach for the latter part of the 2013-14 season before promoting him to full time assistant coach before the start of the 2015-16 season.

Goldberg joins a Tri-City team that won the Clark Cup championship in 2015-16 before missing the playoffs entirely last season.

The Musketeers will travel to Kearney to face Goldberg and the Storm for the first time on October 13th before heading home to Sioux City for the 2017 home opener on October 14th.  Season tickets, flex tickets, and group tickets are all available through the Musketeers’ office.  For more information please call (712)252-2116.
