SIOUX CITY, IA—the Musketeers made a pair of moves to shake up their roster late Wednesday afternoon.
In the first move the Musketeers placed forward Niko Esposito-Selivanov on waivers and he was subsequently picked up by the Waterloo Black Hawks. Esposito had no points and was a -1 through 6 games with the Musketeers this season.
In the second move of the day the Musketeers sent forward Solag Bakich to the Black Hawks, Bakich had 1 goal and 2 assists and was a plus 1 through 9 games with the Musketeers this season. In return for Backich the Musketeers received forward Dylan Mills from Waterloo. The 6’3” 205lb right winger from Cottage Grove, MN has 2 goals and is a +3 through 5 games with Waterloo this season.
“We are very excited to add Dylan to the team, a 6’3” right shot forward that can come in with junior experience. He is a recent commit to Niagra that will add some depth and size to us immediately” said Musketeers Head Coach Luke Strand.
Mills joined the team before practice on Thursday but no word yet if he will be the lineup for Friday’s game against the Sioux Falls Stampede. The next chance to see the Mills and Musketeers in action at home will be this Saturday, November 11th for Military night where the Musketeers will honor all veterans and active duty service members who help make up Musketeer Nation. Military members will receive their ticket FREE with a valid military ID. For more ticket information visit Tysoncenter.com or call the Musketeer office at (712)252-2116.
