Musketeers Make Team Changes

SIOUX CITY, IA—The Sioux City Musketeers begin a 5 game homestand in a 9 day stretch without 2 players.  Defenseman Adam Samuelsson is going to the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League.  A 5th round selection of the Wolves, at  6’6” 236 LBS, Adam’s physical presence will be missed.  Coach Strand states “We are appreciative of Adam’s work and contribution to our organization.  We wish Adam continued success in his future endeavors."
 
University of Minnesota Duluth commit forward Blake Biondi is returning to his hometown of Hermantown, MN to rejoin his Hermantown High School hockey team.  Blake has been moved to the 2002 Affiliiate List.  In 10 games Blake contributed a goal and 2 assists. Coach Strand states "We wish Blake all the best heading back to play his senior year of high school in Hermantown.  We look forward to his future contributions to our organization."
 
The Musketeers return home Saturday for Military Appreciation Night sponsored by Dunes Surgical Hospital at 7:05pm against the Youngstown Phantoms, then finish the second matchup with Youngstown in a Sunday day game at 3:05pm for Rock the Rink sponsored by WinnaVegas Casino and Powell Broadcasting.
