Sioux City Musketeers equipment manager Bryan Collier has accepted the same position with the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League.
“I would like to thank the entire Musketeers organization and community for giving me the chance to get my foot in the door in the hockey world and pursue my dream of working in the NHL,” Collier said, “From the hockey staff to the front office, the people I got to work with in Sioux City were unbelievable. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
Collier’s career began in 2012 working for the WHL’s Seattle Thunderbirds. Seattle went to the playoffs seven times during Collier’s tenure, including the 2017 squad that earned the Chynoweth Cup and the Memorial Cup.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the warm welcome that the Sioux City Musketeers family gave me. This whole experience has been truly amazing and Sioux City will always have a special place in my heart,” Collier continued.
The Americans are based in Kennewick, Washington, roughly 200 miles southeast of Collier’s hometown of Seattle. Notable Tri-City alumni include Carey Price and Brian Boucher.
